hallo, hurray!
there’s a pretty new dress for sale in the shop,
modeled by the lovely & talented meghann rose.
there’s a dreamy photoshoot of her on the way too!
it is swiftly becoming a hot summer here,
i am hiding in the kitchen lately with a fan!
might be time to become a nocturnal seamstress again~
aaron took this photo in the studio the other day, with a fish-eye lens.
i forget what clutterbugs we are until i see a photo like this.
at least the cats like it~

regarding new creations & custom orders..

hallo, from oakland, on a very bright day!
unfortunately i am working on the computer & not outside playing..
but that means there are new things in the shop for you to see!
i promise we will have some things besides top-hats & vests, soon..
there are some pretty spring skirts in the works, as well as a little
army of dresses impatiently waiting to be finished..
it’s hard to work industriously all the time when there are
always cats lounging sleepily in your fabric pile.. i tell ya.
***we are going to take a break from custom orders for awhile..***
don’t fret if we have one in the works for you, we will finish it, of course!
but i think we won’t be taking anymore on this summer.
you are welcome to write us still in regards to custom work,
we will put you on our waiting list if you don’t mind waiting.
it’s just time for us to only make things out of our heads for awhile..
i think you’ll be happy with the result..

a regal red vest on it’s way across the country.

good evening world,
here is a custom vest, just finished for a photographer on the east coast.
he asked for a patchwork vest in blood red & here it is!
with little gold stitches & dapper brass buttons~
regal & lovely, i think!
tomorrow we’ll be sending some things into boneflowers, top-hats & a beetle vest
+ a very lovely celestial black & white dress!
so be sure to get in there this weekend to have a look!
there are a lot of dresses in the works & some pretty photoshoots on the way too~

oh my, this diary has been neglected..
sorry dears!
i do think we’re better at making things than posting about them!
well, here is a custom ordered skirt,
just delivered to england for a lovely lady.
it was quite the task,
i don’t usually make long skirts. but it turned out so lovely,
that might just change!
i’ll update more here soon, i promise!
there are a lot of changes coming in gibbous-land…

hallo dears~
sorry for being absent for so long..
there has been so much happening;
a trip north, a lost computer cord,
endless rain & getting sick.. eek!
thankfully though we have been getting back to work!
here are some of the new creations available in the shop!
there will be quite a bit more soon!
we have been working on some pretty little adornments, also~
beautiful bows, baubles & accessories..
for ornamenting yourself on a budget!

hi deers,
sorry to be missing for so long!
this art show took over our lives for quite awhile.
but now you get to see what we made..
a giant dress for people to go inside of…
here is a little picture diary of the last few weeks with the dress;
it might just be moving to swankety swank for a few weeks.

we are back at our sewing machines now, though, making people-sized clothes again..
